Content: This item is a bundle of patient records for the months of February to August 1943, probably from a field hospital in the Wewak-Madang region of New Guinea. Each page contains three columns recording the details of three patients, with each column divided vertically into three boxes. The top box contains the name, unit, and original occupation of the patient, as well as the name/nature of the illness or injury suffered, and a brief description of the circumstances under which the soldier became a casualty. The second box records details of the nature of the treatment given, and the bottom box contains notes on the patient's progress/deterioration. This item was captured at Sio in June 1944.
