Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Korako on 26 April 1944 during the Allied attacks of Japanese positions in northern New Guinea, which were intended to isolate the 18th Army at Wewak. This item is a manual entitled "Type 2 fighter armouring method", issued in February 1943 by Army Air Inspector General's Department. It contains information on armament components, structure of aircraft, mounting, adjustment, inspection, loading ammunition, dismounting. It also contains various charts and technical diagrams.
