Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for Sergeant AOKI Sorao of Obara Unit, who was captured between Basa and Giruwa on 9 December 1942. AOKI, a 25 year old Sergeant from Hiroshima, was suffering from malaria and wounds when he was captured by Australian troops. During the interrogation, AOKI provided information on the unit movements, equipment, and morale in Japan.
