Content: This is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. The leaflet reports the end of the Japanese resistance on Okinawa and the voluntary surrender of over 7,000 Japanese soldiers on the island. The message praises the courage of these POWs who decided to surrender so that they can live and assist the rebuilding of Japan after the war.
