Content: | This Japanese-language propaganda leaflet was produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office at the end of the Pacific War. An English translation of the text is attached. It states that a Japanese field officer and his 33 men surrendered on Guam on 18 June and were treated honourably by the Chief Officer of U.S. Marines who praised praise for their intelligence and sincere conviction. It urges other Japanese troops to take the same course as an "intelligent and sincere patriot". |
