Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for JA147544, a civilian employee of the Japanese Army, who was captured by US troops near Sentani on 2 May 1944. JA147544 provided information on the Formosan Air Training Corps, conditions and treatment of Allied prisoners of war at the Takao (Kao-hsiung) camp, Allied air raids at Kota Bharu, Ingirisu and Embi Bay between January and April 1943. The appendix contains two sketch maps of the Allied prisoner-of-war camp at Takao.
