Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Hollandia (Jayapura) on 30 April 1944 during the Allied attacks on Japanese positions in northern Dutch New Guinea, which were intended to isolate the 18th Army at Wewak. This item is a firing table for a Type 91 long pointed projectile, Type 91 high explosive projectile and a Type 14 year substitute projectile (B), with new propellant charge, issued on 7 August 1943 by the Ministry of War. It contains specifications showing fuse, weight of bursting charge, ballistic data, table of tangent sight corrections and a firing table. |
