Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Maffin on 28 May 1944 during the Allied attacks on Japanese positions in northern Dutch New Guinea, which were intended to isolate the 18th Army at Wewak. This item contains charts and sketches of a Type 98 instantaneous-short delay fuse; finned Bangalore torpedo; black and smokeless powders, and ammunition for small arms, 10 and 15 cm howitzers and infantry guns, issued by the Minister of War and held by TSUJIMURA of the Army Ordnance School.
