Content: | This item is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Lae on 18 September 1943 shortly after the fall of Lae and the beginning of the Japanese retreat across the Finisterre Ranges. This item is a manual on bridge building, demolitions and the construction of defensive positions. It contains five diagrams of bridge construction, a section on the use of explosives for demolition work, and methods of construction of firing trenches and wire entanglements. |
