Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Wau on 30 January 1943 during the Japanese retreat from campaigns in the Owen Stanley Ranges. This item is a partial translation of an army engineering manual concerning a range of military operations, including the destruction of fortifications, anti-tank tactics, search and removal of land mines, bridge construction, and demolition of flank defences.
