Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Roosevelt Ridge overlooking Tambu Bay on 29 August 1943. This item is a reference manual for instructors concerning the handling of ordinance which was issued by the Japanese Army Infantry School in June 1938. The manual contains detailed information and diagrams on the Type 89 heavy grenade discharger and the Type 1935 grenade discharger, including their construction, assembly and disassembly instructions, maintenance and handling. This item also contains specifications on various types of grenade discharger ammunition.
