Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. An English translation of the text is attached. The leaflet reports the fall of Berlin and the return of peace in Europe. The leaflet also states that peace will also return soon to China, Japan and other Southeast Asian countries. 100,000 of them were printed. 38,000 of these leaflets were dispatched to Hollandia, 12,000 to Morotai, 20,000 to Lae, and 31,000 to Torokina. All the dispatchments were made on 29 March 1945. |
