Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. The leaflet introduces a copy of a letter of thanks supposedly written by a young Japanese prisoner of war. In the letter, he expresses his heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Australian Red Cross Hospital and praises their devotion which made no distinction between friend or foe. 107,000 of them were printed. |
