Content: | This item is a pictorial propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. An English translation of the captions is provided. The leaflet includes a total of eight pictures depicting the recapture of the Philippines by the Allied Forces, the re-establishment of the Ledo road, the advance of the American troops in France and the British troops in Holland. 200,000 of them were printed. 60,000 of these leaflets were dispatched to Darwin on 5 and 9 April, 10,000 to Morotai on 9 April 1945, and 60,000 to Hollandia on 10 April 1945, 30,000 to Lae on 10 April 1945 and 47,250 to TOrokina on 10 April 1945. |
