Content: This item is a draft of a memorandum regarding the daily inspection of Japanese commissioned officers which was proposed by the Australian forces. The sender of the memorandum requests this inspection to be carried out by the Commander-in-Chief of the South East Area Army on behalf of the Australian officers, as a daily inspection in front of subordinates would be a disgrace to Japanese high-ranking officers.
