| Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at "Old Gun position" (Old Vickers) near Bobdubi on 16 September 1943 during the Japanese retreat from campaigns in the Owen Stanley Range. This item is a pamphlet of regulations for troops aboard transport vessels, issued by Troop Commander Lieutenant Colonel KATO of 180 Maru on 27 February 1943. It containing regulations on guard duty, fire prevention, sanitation, health, defensive action, anti-gas and abandon ship procedures. This item also contains charts and diagrams on observations positions, emergency positions, duties and dispositions within the ship. |
