Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. An English translation of the text is attached. One side of the leaflet has an illustration showing General MacArthur and Admiral Nimitz squeezing the sea supply lines between Japan and the South. The message on the other side states that the capture of the Philippines will allow the Allied Forces to gradually compress the supply route between mainland Japan and the Japanese-occupied Southern regions. The message stresses that any troops, no matter how strong they are, will not be able to perform their tasks when the supply lines cannot be protected.
