Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. An English translation of the text is attached. The message criticises the military leaders in Tokyo who have been letting military commanders commit harakiri when the defeat on Okinawa became certain and who now place the burden of defending the country on the shoulders of ordinary Japanese people. It encourages the Japanese people to demand that the military leaders themselves take responsibility for their failure.
