Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. The message on the leaflet urges the Japanese forces to consider surrendering now so that they can take part in the post-war reconstruction of Japan. The message also guarantees that Japanese POWs will be treated with respect and will not subject to the same humiliation that Allied POWs have suffered under the Japanese. It stresses that the most important duty for the Japanese forces is to make every effort for the homeland and their families after the military power is eliminated and peace returns to Japan.
