The AJRP has adopted the standard Japanese practice of listing the family name first, followed by the personal or given name. No comma has been used in this case.
In order to aid users who may be unfamiliar with Japanese, all Japanese family names in the database appear in capitals. The exception to these standards is for a Japanese, or a person of Japanese descent, who has adopted or is generally known by Western name order.
Examples of names as used in the database are OKADA Masayuki, TANAKA Miyuki, David Suzuki. |
