Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) research report issued on 5 February 1945 on the Japanese Air Services. This report is a translation of an assessment of the Japanese Air Services compiled by 1st Section, 2nd Department, Chinese Army General Staff on 31 May 1944. It contains estimates of the disposition and strength of the Japanese Army and Naval Air Forces, estimates of the organisation systems of the Army and Navy Air Forces, the organisation of Japanese Air Sector Headquarters, names of Commanding Officers, Japanese airfields in China, Japanese Army Aeronautical Schools and the location of Japanese Naval Air Training Units. |
