Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured in the Sanananda area on 22 January 1943. It contains miscellaneous orders, battle reports, regulations, medical ailments, and medical precautions for operations in the Owen Stanley Ranges and Rabaul area between 13 May and 10 July 1942. This item also includes a 4-page document entitled "Regulations dealing with the handling of natives", which includes information on rations, identification, health, treatments and the "character and habits" of New Guinean workers.
