Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Talasea on 15 March 1944 during the Allied campaign to retake New Britain. This item is a collection of notices and bulletins dated 11 February 1938 to 15 September 1942, issued by Iwata Force and KINOSHIMA Isamu, Chief of Staff, 11th Army. It contains information on the revisions to court-martial punishments, Army Legal Force duties, court-martial statistics for the 11th Army between 1941 and 1942, and extracts from the National Security Act pertaining to sedition, treason, civil disturbance and criminal procedure.
