Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for rank TAGUCHI Kiichirô of the 102nd Infantry Regiment Regimental Headquarters 3rd Battalion 12th Company 2nd Platoon 2nd Section, who was captured in Nassau Bay on 29 July November 1943. TAGUCHI, a 31 year old Sergeant from Ibaraki Prefecture, surrendered to Australian troops after living in the jungle for thirty days with his companion. During the interrogation, TAGUCHI provided information on his unit organisation, weapons and morale in Japan. |
