Content: | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Aitape on 22 April 1944 when US forces landed at Aitape in an effort to isolate the 18th Army at Wewak. This item contains a field diary and operational orders for 248th Flying Regiment Headquarters at Wewak between 1 and 30 November 1943. It includes plans and orders for various attacks on Allied airfields during November 1943.
