Dr Iwamoto: Long dispela skul yu lainim military training?

Petemes: Yes

Dr Iwamoto: Plis, tokim mi moa long militri treing?

Petemes: Mi lainim olsem long sut.

Dr Iwamoto: Yu lainim yusim bainat?

Petemes: Mi yusim. Mi lainim tu.

Dr Iwamoto: Masin gan, o nogat?

Petemes: Nogat. Masin gan nogat.

Dr Iwamoto: Yu kisim uniform?

Petemes: Mi kisim. Shoe na hat.

Dr Iwamoto: Yu kisim namba?

Petemes: Nogat. Mi ino kisim namba.

Dr Iwamoto: Yu tasol i kamap soldia olsem?

Petemes: Yes.

Dr Iwamoto: Arapela pikinini ino kamap?

Petemes: Nogat, Mi wanpela tasol.

Dr Iwamoto: Tasol yu stap wantaim Japanis. Yu go long sampela hap tu?

Petemes: Igo olsem long hap bilong Kara.

Dr Iwamoto: Wanem kain wok yu mekim?

Petemes: Mi wokabaut wantaim em na mi karim gan. Sapos mi lukim wanpela spai nambaut ya na bai mi sutim.

Dr Iwamoto: Comanda bilong yupela em bilong Remeta?

Petemes: Yes, em bilong Remeta.

Dr Iwamoto: Long Remetang, hamaspela soldia olsem yu istap?

Petemes: Wanpela em polisman. Planti polisman.

Dr Iwamoto: Polis man i kam long ples?

Petemes: Yes, ikam long ples.

Dr Iwamoto: Olsem tenpela o? Twentipela o? Hamaspela?

Petemes: More than that.

Dr Iwamoto: More than a hundred?

Petemes: Planti ya.

Dr Iwamoto: Yu kisim pe long Japanis ami?

Petemes: Nogat.

Dr Iwamoto: Yu kisim kaikai tasol?

Petemes: Kaikai tasol.

Dr Iwamoto: Ol Japanis soldia i tritim yupela i gutpela?

Petemes: I gutpela

Dr Iwamoto: Ol ino paitim yupela?

Petemes: Nogat. Em i dipen long tritim prisioner na olsem ol boi bilong ol. Soldia na sumatin. Students they are different. They think differently from the prisioners. Ol i save paitim ol prisoners. Labourer, sapos em ino wok gut. Orait, kam long sumatin bai nogat na polisman ino gat.

Dr Iwamoto: Em tasol? Yu save planti moa stori long Japanis?

Petemes: Em tasol.

Dr Iwamoto: Thank yu tru. Gutpela stori. Mi amamas.
