This item contains extracts from a manual entitled "Medical information on military operations in the tropics", dated 1 September to 31 December 1942. It describes the main contagious diseases prevalent in Thailand, including a brief history of epidemics in the country, statistics on the percentage of the local populations suffering from the various diseases, and localities in which each disease is most common.
