Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. The leaflet has an illustration of a Japanese family trying to fight with a farming tool and a bamboo spear. The message on the leaflet states that it will be absolutely impossible for ordinary people to protect the mainland Japan after both the Japanese Army and Navy failed to do so. It stresses that unconditional surrender is the only way left for the Japanese people. |
