Content: This item consists of a mnemonic chart for Morse code published by Senryûdô in Tokyo in 1939. It contains instructions to Morse signallers, and a Morse conversion chart for the English alphabet and the Japanese syllablry. For example, the Japanese syllable "ha" is represented by dash-dot-dot-dot, with the mnemonic "harmonica" (pronounced haa-mo-ni-ka). This item would have been of immediate interest to the Allies, as indicated by its classification as an "A" document.
