Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. An English translation of the text is attached. It reports the advance of the Russian troops into Berlin and the imminent surrender of Germany. 200,000 of them were printed. 40,000 of these leaflets were dispatched to Morotai on 13 March 1945, 50,000 to Torokina on 15 March 1945, 30,000 to Lae on 15 March 1945, 20,0000 to Hollandia on 15 March 1945, 30,000 to Morotai on 17 March 1954, and 36,000 to Mindoro on 15 April 1945. |
