Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. An English translation of the text is attached. This small leaflet reports the fall of Manila on 3 February 1945, which ended the occupation of the Philippines by the Japanese since 2 January 1942. The leaflet states that the loss of Manila may lead to the complete closure of communications between Japan and the South. 150,000 of them were printed. 45,000 of these leaflets were dispatched to Morotai, 40,000 to Darwin, 15,000 to Hollandia, 24,000 to Lae and 30,000 to Torokina. All of them were dispatched on 10 February 1945.
