Content: This item is a Japanese-language propaganda material produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. It is a revised version of the item numbered 7/9/12 J22. This leaflet concerns a tropical disease spread by an insect called the mokka. The tropical disease is called Japanese River Fever. The disease is said to be fatal and is difficult to distinguish from malaria. The English translation notes that the leaflet is intended to cause uneasiness among Japanese troops in jungle areas. 60,000 of them were printed.
