Content: | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office during the Second World War. The message states that ordinary people in any country dislike war and the majority of Japanese people were against war until the attack on Pearl Harbor occurred. It criticises the Japanese leaders who ignored public opinion and oppressed people wishing for peace. The message urges the Japanese soldiers to do best to encourage the military rulers to reflect on their mistakes and to stop continuing the meaningless war. |
