Kure's requests include the imposition of a time limit on the stationing of UN forces in Kure, the return of facilities requisitioned by the occupation forces, the principle of territorial privilege for jurisdiction and the application of local taxes to the UN forces. The municipal council demanded almost half of requisitioned properties to be returned immediately. |
