Aircraft carrier Shôkaku was part of numerous operations including the attack on Pearl Harbor, the attack on Rabaul, the Ceylon Operation, the Battle of the Coral Sea and the 2nd Naval Battle of the Solomons. It was sunk by a submarine-fired missile off the Marianas in 1944.
