Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at Gorari on 11 November 1942 during the Japanese retreat from campaigns in the Owen Stanley Ranges. The document is a reference manual on landing operations and contains detailed instructions on pre-arranged landing plans, the defence of convoys, executing landing operations in the tropics, the continuation of landing.
