| 内容の概要 | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) research report on the movement and operations of the 65th Brigade and Mano Group. The enquiry was received on 6 September 1943 and an answer despatched on 10 September 1943. Based on information from prisoners of war, the report stated that the Mano Independent Mixed Group was not of great strength and performed garrison duties at Wewak after 6 April 1943. It was uncertain if the Group later came to Salamaua. The report also mentions another possible reference to the Mano Group in an intelligence report dated 17 June 1943 issued at Lae. |
