| 内容の概要 | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) research report on Allied aerial burst fuzed bombs. The enquiry was received on 30 September 1943 and an answer despatched on 10 October 1943. The enquirer requested information from captured documents and interrogation reports on the effectiveness of aerial burst fuzed bombs (parachute bombs) after reports of the bombs having killed Japanese without leaving wounds and having caused warping and buckling of aircraft. The report lists seven references to parachute bombs between 12 September 1942 and 8 June 1943, but provides little detail on the nature or effectiveness of the bombs themselves. |
