内容の概要 | This item is a Japanese-language propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office. An English translation of the text is attached. Printed on one side of the leaflet is an illustration showing that bombs from an American plane are destroying the thick pipeline from oil refineries in Borneo to the Japanese mainland. The other side of the leaflet has a message emphasising that the recapture of the Philippines by the Allied forces will have a devastating impact on oil supplies to Japan from the South. The leaflet tells Japanese troops that their friendly planes are not delivering any counterattacks against the Allied air force because they may be conserving oil. |
