| 内容の概要 | This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for Sergeant Major ARAI Nobuo of the 115th Infantry Regiment 2nd Battalion 6th Company, who was captured in the Trobriand Islands on 13 March 1943. ARAI, a 25 year old Sergeant Major from Gunma, was captured by Australian troops after he and his companions landed on an island after the sinking of Oigawa Maru. During the interrogation, ARAI provided information on military training and discipline and conditions in Japan. |
