| Content: | This Japanese-language propaganda leaflet was produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office at the end of the Pacific War. The English text and the Japanese text do not match and it is most likely the English text was for 31JI. The Japanese text quotes Prime Minister KOISO, Major General HOMMA and General YAMASHITA on their assessments of the development of the war. On the other side of the sheet, the text questions the assessments of these three leaders on the grounds that they may not have comprehended the hardship the soldiers on the frontline are experiencing. It asks what people back at home would think once they learned the real situation. |
