Content: After consulting with Lieutenant Colonel Anderson, some amendments to the repatriation plan had been made. The number which appears on the table (not attached to this document) is the forces as of 31 December 1945. Approximately 14,000 Japanese servicemen working for the Australian forces are included in the table. Six Japanese women and children are under the control of the Australians and their repatriation process should be arranged by the Australians.
