Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) combined interrogation report for 12 Japanese prisoners of war. The units they belonged to and places of capture varied, but generally, they were captured around May 1944 in Melanesia. Most of them were captured during their retreat. During the interrogation, they provided information on their unit organisation, movements, Allied prisoners of war and Allied air attacks. Student interrogators were used for those interviews.
