This item is a notebook containing information and sketches on chemical warfare materiel, dated 13 February 1943 to 15 April 1944 and stamped HIRASE, Katsutoshi. It contains general observations about the nature of gas warfare, duties of an officer in charge of defence against gas attack, physical properties of various gases, first aid, protective clothing, training methods, and chemical warfare organisation in the Soviet Army Armoured Group.
