Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured at an unknown location (presumably Melanesia) on 28 September 1944. This item is a collection of extracts from a pamphlet entitled "Bulletin of the 63rd, volume no. 4", dated 1 August 1943. It contains plans for a substitute anti-tank mine, sketches and charts of dummy discharges used to deceive enemy forces by simulating the sound of field guns, and the results of tests made with soybean mobile oil for use in automobiles.
