Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured on 29 January 1944, presumably during the Huon Peninsula campaigns and the Japanese retreat from campaigns in the Owen Stanley Ranges. This item is a notebook compiled at the Naval Signal School containing questions and answers regarding basic radio equipment, including operation instructions, specifications and componentry of a TM Type Short Wave Mobile Wireless Transmitter and Receiver and a Mk 1 Model 1 Radar Receiver and Transmitter.
