Content: This item is a collection of certificates kept by the 3rd Independent Field Hospital of the 41st Division, recording 108 casualties among the 38th Independent Anti-aircraft Gun Company between March 1943 and March 1944. Each certificate gives the name, rank and service record of the soldier in question, followed by the date and nature illness or injury suffered (malaria being the most frequent complaint). In the case of injury, quite detailed descriptions of the battle or attack in which the incident occurred are provided. Each certificate is verified and stamped by the company commander, a Lieutenant TAKADÔ. This item was captured at Hansa Bay in June 1944.
