Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) interrogation report for JA147259 of the 23rd Field Artillery Regiment who was captured at Kometto on 29 March 1944. JA147259, a superior private, was starving and went to the local people for help. He was handed to US Marines. Personal details of JA147259 are not included in the report. During the interrogation, he provided information on aircraft production factories in the Nagoya area. He had worked for the Mitsubishi Heavy Industrial Corporation as a precision inspector in aircraft production. He gave information on other related factories, such as Okamoto Industrial Corporation, in the area as well. Four sketch maps of Nagoya, Mitsubishi Heavy Industrial Corporation, and Okamoto Industrial Corporation, are included in the report.
