Content: This is an Allied Translator and Interpreter Section (ATIS) translation of a Japanese publication captured on 16 September 1943. This item contains operational orders for the 30th Independent Engineer Regiment between 13 February and 6 June 1943. The orders cover the Regiment's movement from Japan to Tsurubu (Tuluvu, New Britain), their subsequent work on the new airfield, and preparations for continued attacks on New Guinea.
