Content: This item is an official diary for part of February 1944 recording the activities of an unnamed transport unit stationed at Wewak. It contains daily reports and orders regarding the "Wewak Transport Strategy," which mostly concerned the transport of sick and injured soldiers in and out of the Wewak region. There are daily reports of new casualties and vehicle/loss breakdown, and there is also mention of a large scale aerial/naval attack from enemy vessels located off the Wewak coast. This item was captured at Hansa Bay in July 1944.
